Bio:

Jerry Wainhouse

Drums / Vocals

If Mojo Overload is a freight train, then
Pacific Northwest native Jerry Wainhouse
is the locomotive!

Is Jerry a drummer that sings, or a singer that plays drums? Well actually...he's both!

Jerry has been the lead singer in a number of bands, including the Jerry Rain Show, and he has worked with members of the Sonics, the Wailers, and other veterans of the Tacoma-Seattle music scene over the years.

Jerry has performed at the Grand Ol’ Opry in Nashville and is a two timer winner of the King Eagle Award of Merit, once for Outstanding Contribution To The Country Music Industry, and once for Best New Singer/Songwriter! He has opened for acts such as BJ Thomas and Eddie Rabbit, and is a BMI recording artist.

As a drummer, Jerry’s track record is equally impressive. He’s played with many of the best artists in Tacoma and Seattle and is seen regularly at clubs all around the area with a wide variety of groups.

Together with Mojo Overload’s keyboardist Lee Gregory, he is the co-founder of Kincaid Avenue, a hot R&B show band, who have played at blues festivals and many local venues. They have also played for the Boeing Company on several occasions.

Kincaid Avenue is currently working on their first album, which will be an R&B flavored collection of originals and covers.

Jerry is very pleased to be a member of Mojo Overload and looks forward to performing  for audiences all over the Puget Sound.
